Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Powdr Quote collects, why, and the choices you have — across our website and our mobile app. We keep it short and plain.

1. What we collect

• Account: your email address and a securely hashed password (managed by our auth provider, Supabase).
• Shop settings: shop name, optional address/phone/ email, your rates and pricing inputs, and an optional logo.
• Quotes: the job details you enter, the computed and final prices, status, and any photo you attach — which you can take with your device camera or choose from your photo library.
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We store a billing reference and your plan status — never your full card number.
• Basic technical data needed to run and secure the site (e.g. logs).

2. How we use it

To provide the Service: let you sign in, save and price quotes, generate the quote you share, and manage your subscription. We use your email for transactional messages (confirmation, password resets, receipts, service notices) and — only if you opt in at sign-up — occasional product news and tips; every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe and you can opt out anytime. We may use anonymized, aggregated data to improve the pricing engine and to build community price benchmarks. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Your data is walled off from other shops

Every shop's data is isolated at the database level. One shop can never read or access another shop's rates, customers, quotes, photos, or logo. Any community figures we show are anonymized and aggregated — never tied to a specific shop.

4. Who we share with (service providers)

We use trusted providers to run the Service: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and Resend (transactional + marketing email). They process data only to provide their service to us.

5. Retention & your choices

We keep your data while your account is active. You can edit your shop info and remove your logo anytime, manage or cancel billing from your Account page, and request deletion of your account and data by emailing us. Some records may be retained as required by law.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), card data is handled by Stripe, and per-shop access is enforced at the database level. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
